Pay off your mortgage in 2 years

I imagine most of us will remember the show “Pay off Your Mortgage in 2 Years” presented by Rene Carayol. It was on around this time last year, when the home owners had done their first year. I have looked, but can’t seem to find anything about when the second series (as people complete the 2 years) will be aired.

Like a lot of people I was a bit disappointed with the shows content, no mention of capital gains tax and other tax implications, however I do admire peoples determination and liked some of the novel approaches so I will be eagerly watching the next series.

So, questions, does anyone know when it is going to be on?

And does anyone want to make some predictions as to whether anyone will have managed to clear their mortgage? Will any couples have split up over the stress? Will there be any other horror stories?

What does everyone think?!

Quick update.

Just found on the BBC website that episode 2/6 is to be shown on BBC2 (time unknown) on Thursday 18th Jan. so it is possible the first episode is to be shown next week.

The BBC webpage did give away a FEW details as to what happens.

Anyway, off to set the video!

Theres a recent thread on this in the MFW board called 'Did they pay off the mortgage in 2 years?' (sorry don't know how to do a link!), I think that had some dates/times for the new series and some predictions from posters on there (including a post from someone on the series I think!)

You are correct the next series is called Did they pay off their mortgage in two years, and starts next week Thursday 11th January @7.30pm on BBC2 and features my favourite family of the series Dan and Lucy ( and this coming from someone in the series :rotfl: )

Our programme goes out the following week.
I'm looking forward to hearing all your comments both positive and negative ( I am thick skinned! )
