No idea, I guess we need someone who understands it to tell us, does dragging the url into a seperate IE window mask the referrer too? I tried looking it up but it hurt my brain!
I did manage to find out that cutting and pasting blocks it, because some website owners wanted to find out how people were managing to do it.Wishing you all good luck!

In Firefox it does show the referrer if you do it that way. To test it for yourself right click on a link and select to open it in a new tab. Then whilst on that new tab, from the menu bar select Tools> Page Info - then about the 6th line down it says "referring URL".
If you drag a link to the tab bar, then follow the same procedure (Tools> Page Info) you will see there is no referring info.
I have no idea about Internet Explorer as I never use it.:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0
