  • Just noticed online that its £5.99 great bargain for those with newborns as locally i was paying arounf £9ish per tin.

They did used to do the toddler milk at this price to but that seems to have gone and the sma gold on there instead........ although i always thought that the first infant milk could never be sold at reduced price due to wanting to promote breastfeeding ????

I have also seen this in my two local stores and like you was under the impression that shops were not allowed to discount first infant milk. Sadly my two are now way too old for it (7 and 3) but had they still been on infant milk I would have cleared the shelves.

Its not allowed to be sold at discount as it brakes the international code of marketing of breast milk substitutes. However unless someone report it they normally get away with it.

Could not see this listed many apologies if it already has, but I got a Lego go glow in Kettering today - for £8.99, they also had Thomas and peppa but peppa was £10.99 for some reason, there £17.50 on amazon.

  • If rumours of over stocks are true guess we could be seeing all manner of Thorntons products turning up at bargain prices.
