thanks, was wondering when it was opening, wonder if the Queen and HRH Prince Phillip will pop in there .

Don't think so somehow. Might pop in myself tomorrow and see if they have any opening offers.

New store opening in New Brighton on Saturday 26th (tomorrow) for anyone in the area. Looks a huge store.:j:j

I only found out about this yesterday, and I live 5 mins away! I know the new Morrisons was opened but hadn't realised that anything else was due to open, not least of all H&B.

Might give it a week though while the furore dies down. It's not like they will be offering a great deal different to the other local stores. But will be handy, esp in the eve (assume it will be open till 8pm?) - will save me the trip to the Prenton store. :j

Just got back from here. Very nice store and could get everything I normally buy from the town centre one.

No character advent calendars though so going in to town for those now.

Had a massive range of toys and some nice children's pyjamas. Thomas the Tank button up PJs for £5.

    HTH
  • Just picked up a few Breo Roam watches from Seaham store. £1.99 each they're worth £12! Great as stocking fillers. Got one for my hols too as they're 10m water resistant.

i-carly and daleks advent calendars in stockton on tees today for 39p, hth
  • Manchester Piccadilly Gardens store had in Mario and Dr. Who cyber men advent calendars for 39p each.

I also spotted further up the bath products aisle (where the other side turns into toys if that makes sense) they had Bayliss and Harding big Hand Cream bottles, think they were orange or peach or something, just remember the bottle looking citrusy for 99p. The bottle was pretty big as well for 99p. I've got lots of bath stuff and all my Christmas shopping done otherwise I'd have got some. HTH someone. :o
