I am after a 32”LCD TV and can’t decide between a Toshiba 32WLT66 or a Samsung LE32R74BDX, any advice welcome and what’s the best price anyone can find. Thanks

Hi
I'm in almost exactly the same boat as you - looking for a 32" LCD...
I'm torn between the Samsung LE32R74BDX and the Sony KDL32U2000U.
The problem I've got is that the cheapest places for both TVs seem to be out of stock. And it's a bit of a "wait or pay an extra £xx" dilema.
I've also been reading some of the other threads on here regarding John Lewis and the fact that they will price match. This is a good deal because JL give you a 5 year warranty which you would otherwise have to pay extra for.
Got a bit more research/digging to do - will report back!0 -
I bought the Toshiba 32WLT66 and have no complaints - this can also now be picked up for around £550. Looks great with NTL - but comes to life when the xbox 360 is connected. Only wish i'd got the 37 inch one now !!!!

Having spent some time looking at this today, I further widened my hit list to include another Samsung model (LE32N73BD) - I believe this is newer than the other one I mentioned above.
I trawled various websites and had various conversations with sales people but nobody seemed too keen to sell me one!
All of the really keenly priced outlets seem to be out of stock post Christmas but are all expecting deliveries within the next week or so.
I think I'll hang on until next week rather than spend an extra £whatever and then look again at where we are in terms of price/availability.
The Tosh model looks interesting, I'll do some more research on that before buying...0
