    True. Don't use Somerfield coupons.
  • So am I right in thinking I can get these codes:

    The Times
page 63 for inside out mag £1.00 coupon
page page 23 of supplement for Harpers £2.60 coupon

and use them in ASDA on my food shopping? ( oh and can I use them on self -service?)

    Thanks! I'm learning... s l o w l y

Yes- although there is some variation between stores and even cashiers. You have to try your branch- just hand them over and ask if they will go- they shouldn't be shocked or surprisd. Most have a rule that you can use 1 of each voucher with each shop- sometimes they have a rule that you can't pay for more than 10% of a shop.
Others are experts on self service..

Most Asdas only accept coupons to the value of 10% of total shop so you would have to spend £36 pound to use both coupons.

Tesco, well it's a lottery some times you can get rid of loads (see tesco help), sometimes only a few or even none, which happened to me yesterday.

Just get it soon, the last couple of days my shops have sold out of papers by the time I get there. I would've thought they'd rather have a few left over then ever run out.

Many thanks to op - just got a couple of copies of the times.

Has anyone else had problems with the Inside out coupon from last week ?

So far I have been unable to scan it successfully at any of the Tescos I've tried. Although because I was buying a few bits ( but not Insideout mag) the supervisor gave me a £1 discount manually. I still have another one with todays date on, so hopefully I can get another co-operative superviser, or do they scan ok at Asda ?

I cannot believe how much I am saving on my shopping with coupons generally, and specifically ones out of the newspaper........and I never knew about stores accepting them until I discovered MSE. Wish I had "wasted" more time on the pc years ago, I could have saved up for a cruise by now !!:D

Many, many thanks to everyone :T :T I realy do appreciate all the time and effort by posters.

I had problems with the ones from last week had a pile of them then a helpful SA put through eight manually
  • Just come back from Tescos and the cashier tried but could not get my Inside Out coupon to work so I quickly got out a 30p coupon. Not so good but I did get a till spit for 30 extra points off kichen rolls, toilet rolls or tissues. Bought another Times and the Inside Out coupon is valid until 31st January so plenty of shopping trips to be made before then.
