My mother has decided to enter the 21st century and get wooden flooring in her hall. She can't stretch to solid wood flooring (& it would be too thick to fit under her existing doors).
Can anyone recommend somewhere around Belfast to get good value for money engineered wood flooring in light to mid oak? She can stretch herself a bit moneywise to get a quality finish.
What underlay would be best for use on wooden floorboards?

I got a lovely engineered oak floor from martin phillips in newtownards. they supplied underlay. the floor is lovely and the man did a really good job on putting it down.i didnt think it was too dear either so give them a call.ive got the craft bug, watch out its catching!!!;)0 -
We got ours from Keens on the Albertbridge Road/Templemore Avenue junction - the flooring is great, but wouldn't recommend their fitter - he has been out to fix a problem twice and in the end we just got someone else to sort itDJWW - cos we won't let it!0
