Hi All
Well I've just graduated from university and am going into graduate school. My parents are paying part of the tuition fee, are there any tax breaks/relief for this?
Thanks
Oliver

The gifts may not need to be counted as PETs for IHT purposes should a parent die within 7 years if the gifts are out of their normal expenditure.0

By the use of your language, specifically "college tuition" and "graduate school" it sounds like you are not in the UK (college is for ages 16-19 here). Are you referring to a postgraduate degree at a British university? If you are, your best bet is to contact the university's finance office.0

Are you in the US? It is possible there.0
