HI everyone,
I have been a lurker for many months and think this site is great but I wonder if anyone can help me with this quest of mine.
My dh's best friend is emigrating with his family next month and he will miss them dearly. We wanted to buy them something and I thought about some kind of book which we could give them a few weeks before they leave where they could collect everyones addresses and email addys and would then find it easy to keep in touch with everyone. I thought people could also write some comment in there as well.
I'm not sure quites where to begin searching though. Does anyone have any ideas or seen anything around.
Thanks for reading and any help you can give.

Hello TracySouth
Welcome to the MSE site.
I bought a book for someone who was emigrating too, because I realised that it would be light and easy for them to transport. I bought a book about the city and surrounding area they were leaving behind, it was packed with photographs of the area where they used to live.............to remind them of their life in the UK.;)

Thanks for the replys
I like the idea of buying a book of the area they are leaving behind, may buy this as well as a 'memory' book.
webcam is a good idea too but he is Mr gadgetman so has one already....we need to buy one though lol0 -
I recently saw an album of photographs called photobook put together by https://www.phitibox.co.uk. It was really nice. P'haps freinds could each donate a pictue or two to pit in it.0
