The best places to sell online?
My choices:
Ebay
Amazon
Preloved
Friday AD
Ebay - High pay listings but POPULAR
Amazon- OK pay listings but Not as popular as Ebay.
Preloved - FREE but not much publicity
Friday AD- I asked 3 people about it and they didn't know what it was. (funny)
So....
This is a question I want to ask.....
If they allow you to sell for free e.g: preloved then why doesn't it get much publicity?
ANNOYING.
I want to sell a bundle of pashmina shawls.
Where is the best place to sell them?
Thankyou.

AS a business I would have thought that ebay would be the way to go. All your expenses and listing fees would be tax deductible and the end prices surely would make it more profitable than elsewhere.
Do check completed listings though as there are so many cheap pashima type shawls avaialble on any high street that your items will eithe rneed to be dirt cheap or something special to sell.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Not sure if this helps but If i'm looking for something i want to buy i try ebay first, followed by Amazon and Play.com.

Try ebid.co.uk too. It's been around for years, doesn't charge any listing fees (unless you upgrade) and the FVF fees are much cheaper than ebay
. I have had a few sales on there.
Other ideas are:
Gumtree
Craigslist
on your Facebook profile
All are free to list on, although I've never used them before.0 -
Thankyou guys ive all clicked thanks next to your posts

In my own experience, I have always found gumtree the best way. You can post for free and I usually get a lot of responses and because it's local, you can negotiate the price with people.0
