Ok so yesterday was a busy day. Mum came up and helped me lay my new bedroom carpet and then we went out to take some bits to the tip, put asmuch in the car as we could and got rid. Went to a couple of shops to look for some pictures that would go on my wall in bedroom but couldnt find any i liked.
Then got an email from nintendo to say that they can fix my sons dsi, but its gonna cost me £56.50. Hell no. Rang them and said why isnt it covered in my guarentee, he said because its not a system fault, its a user one. So that is coming back to me unrepaired. mum has said boys can have their old one back off her
So when i get the broke one back, will try and sell it for spares/repairs and then split the money between the boys for whatever they want.
Also put my new bed up yesterday, and it looks lovely.
Today will do some cleaning and sorting, minimum effort sort of stuff and have already paid the debts for today.PAD Maker0 -
we have a broken ds too
it's been repaired by nintendo 3 times now and each and every time it breaks it is the same fault (ggrrrrrr) i've given up for now and as it's out of guarantee we have to fix it ourselves! How was the new bed to sleep on? I still love getting into my bed to go to sleep and it's a year old now
-mind you i love sleeping that much i would probably be happy with a sleeping bag on the floor! xx

Hi dfw, the bed is fine, taking a bit of getting used to. I was on the floor on the mattress so it is an improvement.
Got the dsi back yesterday and sold it at half 10 this morning for £20. This is for both the kids to do with as they want, i have asked the eldest if he wants to save it for holiday and he said yes, but 6 yr olds change their mind alot.
Me and youngest have been to morrisons for our lunch and he was quite well behaved. about 5 minutes before we left this woman her kid and 2 others she was with came in and sat opposite a bit further up. I heard the little girl say she needed the toilet and her mum ignored her twice, then when she said it again, the mum hurt the girl around her neck and pushed her to the toilet. why she got angry over her kid wanting the toilet is beyond me and very stupid. some people nowadays are just complete !!!!$.
Payments made to ncc and lewis dr. only £101 till ncc is into triple figures instead of the four it is now.PAD Maker0 -
Ok so for once my bank balance is looking rather healthy. get paid tax credits tomorrow and need to do some shopping, but as i wont have my mum to take me to asda, looks like im stuck with morrisons. Will try and keep shopping down as much as possible. although will be buying more this week as its the holidays from next week.
ds1 has his last day at school tomorrow so i really have to get the toys and rubbish sorted while he isnt around. Was meant to pick some black bags up today but forgot what with doctors this morning and the bloke coming for dsi.
So shopping in the morning and must remember to pick up black bags, although morrisons is probably more expensive tham wilkos for black bags.
Then get home and sort out the kids toys, wash pots, ironing. hopefully put a wash on and out(couldnt today cos of stupid rain). Also want to sort out one of my big cupboards as it is a right mess and disgusting. may be some treasures i can sell.
Also need to sweep and mop. then clean the boys bedroom AGAINPAD Maker0 -

 glad someone has sorted the window out! I know how worrying it is to be in the house with kids alone and something like that happens....!
We have a similar weigh in programme here run by the nhs. You get weighed in once a week for 5 weeks and lots of freebies!! They wouldn't take me on as my BMI was 28+ i was gutted :rotfl: of course i should have been happy because it meant i was that overweight but all i could think of was the freebies:rotfl:

I would love my bmi to be around 28+ but its actually more than that, i have a long way to go to be in the healthy weight range, but luckily im not as big as some of the people you see on the telly and out around town.
Ok so i have sorted washing, sorted last few bits of clothes for hols, took money to bank and cashed it in, brought nappies, sorted out list for last minute packing (eg hairbrush, toothbrush etc), helped kids clean their room, done lots of ironing.
Just need to mop kitchen and livingroom and wash pots tonight and put last bits in bag. Also need to ring kids dad to tell him about tomorrows plans, although i am not deffo sure on a time yet.
Council man comes tomorrow at ten to sort out window properly. Hoping he will only be about an hour so i can get the kids to their dads for 12. Then i can do last minute sorting at my mums and make sure everything is ready for sat morning.
Must remember to pack chargers aswell as i will be completely lost without my phone and computer.
Paid £30 off a bill today, need to pay rossendales tomorrow as i dont want to mess about trying to find a shop that does payments while on holiday. so that will be paid early.PAD Maker0 -
travelling back from seaside tomorrow so will be back to payment making. Bank is looking healthy but that is mainly because i havent made any debt payments yet(except one £10 dd).
So as soon as i get home tomorrow, it will be washing on, sorting out all holiday baggage and then debt payments and back to normal.PAD Maker0 -
Ok so back home, 2 washloads done, sorting cleaning and i have been out and got a few bits and bobs to last hopefully until monday at least.
Washing is half and half, half dry half not, and i wont be ironing untill it is all dry so hopefully it will be nice tomorrow so i can get it all out.
Kids are at their dads tomorrow so i need to find something to do, hopefully not too expensive
Paid £70 off the debt today, the debt i am concentrating most on is now under 1k at £995, should be free of this before end of year and then can make all extra payments to a different debt.
Debts currently stand at:-
£995
£1270
£2250
£4280
Total:-
£8,795PAD Maker0
