New loan to unemployed OPF
I am soooooooooooooooo mad today.
My step daughter (bless her) had a baby boy in August, BF left her in April, (told her he was a waste of space). Had baby Ok, Had a bank loan for several years 7.5k over 4years. (Dont know what she spent the money on) Anyway , today she goes into the bank to reduce her payments, so they let her take out a NEW loan for 4.5k (paid off 3k in repayments over the last 2 years) EVEN THOUGH SHE IS A ONE PARENT FAMILY _ NO INCOME ........ only benefits !!!
I CANT BELIVE THIS.... I went back into the bank with her to try and sort this out and I am now paying half of what she owed the bank just to try and help her out.
WHAT ON EARTH ARE THE BANKS DOING letting a young girl do this sort of thing?????????? BEYOND BELIEF

What did you expect the bank to do?
They had already lent her the money 3 years ago.
As I see it they have reduced the payments presumably because the new loan is over a longer timescale - but this would have happened anyway if she had reduced payments.
Unless they lent her new money I seem to be missing something here.0
