Thanks op, never tried this but would like to feed my two boys (dogs) and little girl (cat) better so I hope they love this, certainly looks high quality, I'll order more if the dates are longer too. Many thanks

I have 4 cats and none of them have any problems with almost any type of sachet cat food. Other than Asdas own brand, which they immediately scratch round and try to bury like someone had put a turd in their bowl!

I don't see why an extremely rich cat food is likely to help with 'sensitive tummies' - surely the reverse if anything.

Alot of cats have trouble processing grains and fillers used in some other pet foods. This stuff is 99% salmon which compares very very favorably against more minstream and supermarket brands.

  • Oh dear - did I miss this one?

I am interested in the cat food and a box of 42 pouches is £22.70. Am I selecting the wrong product or did they end the deal?

Shame as I am sure my two would have wolfed it down, they love their fishy treats but the best I usually get is 40% meat content.

Yes, it looks like the offer is over :(
They have done a buy one get one free offer before though, so I'm sure it won't be long before another offer in on the cards

This is an ok deal, http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B003UF103S
Sometimes they drop the price to 7.40 GBP with free shipping, you just have to keep an eye on it. I have bought loads of this but only at the lower price. With Amazon if they get loads of hits on a low price product their computer ups the price......:D
  • Thanks for the tip on the Whiskas. I usually get this from Pets at Home when it's on offer for £5 for 2 packs of 12, so £7.40 for 48 pouches is good, but I normally avoid gravy as mine prefer the jelly varieties. Morrissons occasionally do 36 puches for £6 which is also good.

The last Hills Science BOGOF offer from PaH allowed me to get Hills pouches for the first time though, which are disappearing fast. Even on BOGOF they're more dear than Whiskas when it's full price though, so it's not cheap! But the 30% vs 4% meat content makes it worth it in my opinion.

I am forever looking for a higher meat content/lower ash content but you really do get what you pay for in the world of cat food, I think, and I can't afford the better cat foods all the time, especially when they are not on offer!
