I posted this previously on benefits board but no response.
How long does it take for HRMC to pay money directly into your account once it has been processed/ authorised? Is it 3 working days like DWP?

It depends on what you are waiting on. Is it a tax refund via a self assessment tax return? Or have you submitted a repayment claim?0

For self-assessment it is one week to 4 weeks depending on the payment run timing. HOWEVER if they block one for any reason it never occurs to HMRC to tell either client or agent that they have done so, never mind why they've done so. So after 4 weeks I get on to them!Hideous Muddles from Right Charlies0
