Not been on here is ages - my life is a bit hectic at the moment but I have finished paying my £500 :T with a bonus from work so please put me down as paid in full, Amara and well done to everyone else :beer:

1400/1850. Cant wait till Monday so I can pay in some more. My friends think I'm acting very strange lately, as I get very excited when Ive paid a bit more off my CC.

nearly there. I have requested £50 from paypal so will move that when it hits my account and make up the difference so I should have reached my target by the end of the week :T

In a really rotten stroke of luck the money I had in my savings I have to use to subsidise washer and a cooker purchase due to a disaster, so I am going to fail this challenge, with great aplomb. :-(

The only way to fail this challenge is not to try - so you haven't failed!

You have managed to subsidise the cooker and washer without borrowing and going into debt so I count this as a success :T

Elly you can join in whenever you like although if you decide to join this challenge you won't have the full 100 days as we are about 60 days into it. Still leaves 40-odd days though if you want to join in. Just let Amara know what your target is and start paying towards it.

ETA why don't you join in this one giving yourself a smaller target and see it as practice for the next one??

I am up to 250/300 only 50 pounds more to go!!

The best part is that I have earned every penny towards this from selling on ebay, mystery shops, vouchers from filling surveys and quidco earnings.
But that said I have just had a water bill so it will have to cover that rather than being saving as was the original plan.
I am definitely in this again next time, again I will try to earn as much as I can rather than going short of things or doing without, I really havent missed the odd little amounts of loose change that I have been taking out of my main account.
