  • Daughter wanted a macdonalds for lunch but we made lunch at home instead- so contributed the cost of macdonalds and petrol to savings and round up a bit- so I paid £11.78 off of NEXT leaving a balance of £290.

    £11.82/£877.78

    £865.96 to go!

    Hey All,

I found another couple of rings to sell, but in the end could only part with one I'd worn twice in 10yrs. So that's another £25 in the cc pot for me :D.

I just wanted to say that yes I do feel that I'm doing phemonomenally well (for me) and putting in (sizable) chunks (for me), but I'm quite aware that a lot of it is due to the fact that I'm off school with the kids and am able to take my time to shop around for things or I can just choose to stay at home and save the petrol. All of this will change in a couple of weeks when I go back to reality (work) and will be back to rushing around like a headless-chicken (my usual state of being ...:rotfl:...)

Anyhow, please don't under estimate the value of the pennies, by God they add up! And can honestly make the difference between life and death. Have you seen the 'Penny Jar' thread? Go check it out x

So, here's to all payments  , no matter how big or small :D.
Well done everyone; you keep me going :D.

Hi everyone, I didn't sign up to this thread but I have been lurking and doing my own thing. Decided to step out of the shadow as I'm really pleased with the progress I've made so far, and it's because of the inspiration from these threads, so thank you and keep up the good work!
