    Hey Willspriteie,
I too have done something similar by taking out the whole £400 food budget allocation. Looking back over my bank statements proved in some months I'd even spent up to £700  over a wide selection of supermarkets and petrol stations, no doubt I'd popped in for a pint of milk and come out £60 (and then some) lighter!

So now I know unconditionally that I can't use my debit card in any supermarket. Bizarrly, it feels quite refreshing as I've made my weekly dinner list and now I don't have to worry about what to have each night!

I thought this challenge would just help me tackle my debt, but it's actually helping me sort out the rest of my life too. :j

    Thanx guys  x x x

Hello guys! £5 from me. I'll be back later, once I'll come back from my work.
  • Another £5 from me. Can't believe I've let this OD slide this long, thinking things were too tight. I'm going to clear this.

I'm finding it funny how having determined to clear it is somehow bringing up and letting go of emotions from that time I got the debt. As though holding onto these debts we hold onto the past sometimes. Just my thoughts today with my cuppa...:coffee:

so just worked out how much I need to pay each week to clear my card in 100 days. Turns out, having the standing order to my savings each month of £50 + £18 minimum payment (that's with around £8 interest taken off) all I need to pay is £18.26 a week and be out of my credit card in 100 days... madness!! xxx
