Inflatable hot tub/spa

Has any one bought one of these inflatable hot tubs that you see on the shopping channels? Would appreciate feedback on running costs (how much has your electric bill increased?), performance, durability etc.

Comments

  • I havent bought one of these but i did have a good look at one when i was in homebase last week and they look really good. I have spoken to people who have the proper hot tubs installed and i believe that they are very expensive to run

We bought the 4 person one last year from N&P products Amazon
The pump went and needed replacing, when we got it out this spring pump went again, bloke is ignoring calls!

Upgraded to 6 person this spring-love it!
nice and roomy, lovely yesterday in sun, kept temp. down
great in rain/cold with temp. up

Bubbles only come out from one line on bottom but pretty powerful, we tend to use it for the heated pool more than jacuzzi

Bought 6 person from Argos, We love it just be careful who you buy from

Made from pretty sturdy stuff, make sure it is on level surface so it does not go out of shape or kink tubes in to pool.

Electricity from research says £10 per month on average use but this must have changed since

Not sure the effect it has on ours, we have it on or heating up most days from spring til end of summer

    - we live in 3 bed bungalow and pay £99 gas and elec per month if thats any good to you
