These pans arn't £45 pans to start with they are worth NO more than the £15 Tesco charge
The saucepans handles get that hot you cannot touch them to pick them up :(
The non stick frying pan is ok but not half as good as my old one
Just my views boys & girls :)
    As always HTH

Totally agree with your post. The pans are not worth the full price are cheap and the handles get dangerously hot. I paid £9.99 for mine and feel slightly done...

If anyone has any spare vouchers I'd love to have them pm me and I'll get back to you with my details ASAP

    Thanks in advance
  • They're decent enough pans for what you pay for them if you're getting the vouchers via doing your normal shopping anyway. My old pan set (picked up from the aforementioned TK Maxx) was dying after a couple of years (which I don't think is on really) so we've been gradually replacing the ones we use the most with this promotion and I'm really happy with them so far (particularly the stock pot which has been working quadruple overtime as I go on a soup making frenzy having jacked the mother in law's soup recipe books). Yeah the handles get hot - which is kind of obvious when you look at them instore as, from my primary school science, I remember metal conducts heat.

Nice to have a frying pan without a wobbly handle for a while to be honest - one of my old ones was distinctly wobbly, the other didn't quite get the non-stick memo - and they were a very well known high end brand of pans as well!

They also work well for threatening the husband with when he comes home to tell me he's crashed the car :D

Picked up the full set of these last week and have to say that, despite some people's criticism of the promotion on here, i'm very happy with them.

Like most of the UK population, I shop at Tesco anyway so it's not like the 70 vouchers have cost me anything because I would have been shopping there and spending the money there anyway.

The pans themselves are of a very good quality. Sure, they're not up there with the enamel offerings of Le Creuset but for a Stainless Steel set they are very good. They're not exactly 100% non stick, you do still need a bit of spray or oil for some items but I expect that with all pans TBH and have never been able to fry an egg without oil despite some manufacturers claims.

The other good point is that, because it's stainless steel, even the big 7.5L cook pot is still quite light compared to a cast iron or enamel equivalent.

Are they worth £394.93? Probably not, i'd probably expect to pay about half that when comparing prices against similar top end Stainless Steel ranges.

Are they worth £115.93? Definitely and they're a steal at that price.

Bought one of these last week. SA handed back 9 vouchers and said only needed one voucher per pot. Don't know if I was just lucky or it's nationwide.
