pension transfer after divorce

I was divorced earlier this year, I have a pension sharing annex and need to transfer part of my ex husbands pension into my own pension fund. I have tried to get advise from a couple of financial advisors, however, I am tearing my hair out as I don't want to invest the fund, I would rather just transfer it over to another pension fund, as the advisors take a lot of commission and I don't know what to do for the best. I have no idea if I can do this (I do not have my own pension) and have nobody to advise me who to go to for help/advice. Please does anyone have any experience or advice on this matter, it is making me ill with worry.
