Cheap PS2 Controller?

Hi,

I'm after a cheap PS2 controller, seeing how my dog took a liking to the only one we've got!!

I've looked on ebay and stuff and can find them for about £7, but finances are tight this week, the kids are moaning and i'm looking for one cheaper than that if possible. Can anyone help please?

    The generic (not official SONY ones) ones seem to go for about a fiver these days.... I bought one a couple of months ago from HMV (high street store not online) for £4.99. Also saw some in Toys R Us last week also for £4.99

    If you can get down your local comet, they are selling a bundle with controller, ps2 stand, cd holder and dvd remote (all unofficial) for £2.99.

    The price of the 'official' playstation controller hasnt been reduced in about 8 years i think, still around the £19.99 mark!

    I would try and place an ad on your local freecycle board. i threw one out yesterday as i allready have 2 for the kids and i am guessing that there are others out there with spares. you could prob end up getting one for free which is always the best price!

    Thanks guys, will go to Comet. I saw the Comet deal on Ebay and bid and then it got to £7.50 so i gave up. Glad i did so now! Might be worth you guys going to Comet and then onto Ebay... ;):D

    definately try Comet, I bought 2 online from them before Christmas and they are great, and include the remote control for the dvd function on the PS2, our little one says that these controllers are better than the Sony one it came with.

    The other week Lidl were selling the non playstation ones for £3.99. These also have a 3 year guarantee. I bought some and they are really good.
