When to start carbooting?

My husband and I have had a massive sort out of our house and are hoping to make a bit of money from what we've got together to help clear my debt.
When is the earliest you think we should carboot - when do people get back into it? We are prepared to brave all weathers, but want to make sure it is a good time of year for buyers to brave it.
What do you reckon?

I did my first car boot at the start of November. It was freezing cold and I did not do too well. Have decided to leave it till March mabe.

The only car boots I've done have been in the summer but i think the 'season' gets going round about easter. I think there are some indoor ones too, although i've never done one so don't know how popular they are.Proud to be dealing with my debts

I posted a similar question on the Ebay/Amazon board and got some helpful replies. I definitely got the impression it has to be WARM and one lady said best to wait til after Easter.
