I would love one of these, but is there any way of finding out if they have them in stock at Ikea before you set off? Ours is a thirty minute drive away.:hello:  please play nicely children !0

maybe worth checking
my 1st thought was "good idea ikea, practically give away covers so people may need to buy your quilts to fit them"0 -

Thanks for your replies and comments, especially on how to do links, I will try it out sometime. The link you gave is correct. The dates are 1st August to 28th August, subject to availability and while stocks last. I will let you know if I am lucky in the Bristol store today.
Many thanks. I'm off to IKEA on Wednesday - so will pick up the mag and get one.0 -
I can check the stock, but there is no option to let me reserve to collect in store?daydream_believer wrote: »If you go onto the item webpage then towards the bottom right there is an option to choose your local store and it lets you check how many they have in stock.0 -
Well, I have now returned exhausted from Ikea, it is only about 2miles away, but roadworks plus school holiday traffic made it a hot and tiring journey. Drove round and round the car park, eventually found a place and tried to memorize it, walked yards and yards to the entrance then the fun began!

The store was heaving with families and screaming children, I followed the arrows and eventually found the textile department, then I found the quilt cover - but---- they only had single sizes. Disappointed I tried to find my way out, passing somehow through the bedroom dept where I spied the cover on a display bed, surprise, surprise they had the covers ina basket alongside the bed.:T
I picked one out, checked the size, and then went trailing round through all the children, buggies, old people, families and departments until I eventually found the check outs.
There were only two open! All the rest were self service! I queued for 15 minutes behind people with loaded trollies and more truculent children. At last success, the checkout operator dealt with the coupon straight away, (I thought she may have had to call someone) and I eventually emerged, hot and sticky and back to my car an hour after I had arrived.;)
I am pleased with my bargain, but I was reminded why I rarely go to Ikea.0 -
I have only ever been to Ikea once and that was more than enough for me. I did feel some of the quilt sets that they had and to be honest they were not the nicest of material, quite rough. So unless you are going there anyway i am not sure if it is really worth all the hassle. Please forgive me if i am wrong and i really do hope i am and that you all get a really nice bargain
