Endowment shortfall through Abbey National

My parents are just going through the claim system about an endowment shortfall.
They need to provide the name of the insurance company the mortgage was covered by. The mortgage was with Abbey National, previously tha National and Provincial. Didanyone have an endowment through N@P and if so who were the insurers please?
