Couldn't get through for tax credits

Hi,

Can anybody help me please. I left it late this year to renew my tax credits but have been trying to get through a lot this weekend by phone. Every time I called it said they couldn't take my call and to try again later. This went on from 8am on Friday morning to 8pm tonight.

I don't know what to do now. Does anyone know if there is a grace period or if there is any other way of getting around it.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Post the forms back via next day recorded delivery. That way at least you know they'll have the forms ASAP

I got through after 1 min this morning at 7.50am I did have to make changes to my award to do with childcare it was not for my renewal.
I would advise trying early tomorrow before open hours
