o2 voicemail help

Hi, I'm not sure where to put this, but i need some help. I've got a voicemail message and need to access it, but i haven't any credit and i've already used 02 'lend us a quid' and can't put any credit on til payday (friday). I'm sure i read somewhere though that you can access your voicemail from another phone as long as you have the password. Is this right, and how do i go about it please?

I've looked on the o2 website and it doesn't help!

Yes I think that is right. You need to dial your number from another phone and when the voicemail message cuts in press * and it will then ask for your PIN. It will only work if you have set up your own PIN as phones on the same network all come with the same one when you buy them. Hope this is helpful - good luck.

Use another phone to call your own mobile. If it's diverting to voicemail, press * while the greeting is playing

Cant do this with prepay o2, only customers on contract......

All O2 customers can do this. It doesn't matter if you're on contract or pay as you go.
