A letter arrived regarding a mortgage held on a property, it states:

This letter confirms that we have amended our records with the correct flat number and removed the plot number from your address.

I hope this is satisfactory.

What does this mean?

I guess it would mean that during development/building stage, the property was given a plot number by the builder and this has now been updated with the flat number instead. I bought plot 27 on a development, my house number was 3.

okay that would make sense, it was updated from "27" to "Flat 27". thx.
