i contacted the company doing the offer and i got this reply:

We have verified with Skype if there was an issue and apparently no. The code we gave you was already used but the credits have been redeemed correctly to your account.


Therefore it's difficult for us to give you another voucher, as we have a really numerous case of fraud from people trying to redeem twice.

I know this is a freebie and all - but how rude to accuse people of fraud, surely my skype account still shows zero credit after the voucher and zero skype usage!

Hi I emailed the company via fb yesterday to enquire this wasn't working for uk applicants - and just to follow up:

They said that they have now sorted the problem I have just gone through the application and got a code!.. trying to put it through now. Fingers crossed
