Will we be credit checked again

Hi

My partner and I got an AIP from Abbey 2 weeks ago, and I can see from my experian report that they did a credit check at this point. We submitted the application in full (via a broker) and the Abbey have come back requesting payslips which were supplied.

Does anyone know if they will look at our credit history again?

Not hiding, no. My partner had a series of late payment 3/4 years ago and then had 1 late payment in March this year. Everything was disclosed in full to the mortgage broker who submitted the application. I just worry (about everything...constantly).

If they have already done a check a 2nd isnt carried out unless they see something they dont like at which case it gets passed further up.

If a full CRA check has been conducted, a new one will normally only be reqd if you are having something amended on it, which will have a positive impact on your application i.e having incorrectly added adverse corrected/removed etc.

Or

If the mge does not complete within the mge offer period.

So as others have said ... don't fret for nothing, if you have told all and passed a full CRA, you should be home and dry (save for the results of the property survey).
