dree sky digibox, sky+ 1/2 price, and skyHD £100 off.

the above is now the offer on at comet.

i have a question, i wanted a new television. so i bought a 32" lcd, but in order to pay for it id have to pay 29% apr interest (id have to pay over £100 in interest). my parents were getting a tv also, but because of the price of it meant it passed for the 5 months interest free credit, and so i could add my television onto that bill.

however, i went into the store yesterday and found a sign that said that you get the above for £49 (sky+ offer, although my new television is high definition im not paying £200 for a box to receive 5 extra channels.) on all televisions over £169.

so my question is, can i take in my receipt and still claim the offer for both televisions (i.e. get two sky+ boxes for £100)?

Should'd be a problem, but you will pay £60 install to Sky for having the Sky+ box put in, they won'nt simply hand you 2 Sky+ boxes at comet!!!
  • so do i need to go to comet, or phone sky?
  • Go to Comet for the offer.
Only Sky can initiate the install

Most of these offers you go into Comet or Currys and they take your details and then you are contacted by Sky who pay Comet or Currys a fee for getting them a new customer.Sky deliver the box and install the dish . Some people have even got the deals without buying a new Tv or they bought a new Tv a while back from Comet or Currys and showed the receipt. Some branches are so keen to get the fee from Sky that they are shall we say economical with the truth.

so do i have to be a new customer?

we've been with sky for 8+ years.
  • I have been waiting for a suitable offer - and in my home town shopping mall - an offer for Sky + Box usually £100 for £49 with free installation usually £60 and do not have to sign up to multi-room and so will be paying £31 per month or £37 if you want two sports or two film channels - so not too bad after all.
Food and Smellies Shop target £50 pw - managed average of £49 per week in 2013 down to £38.90 per week in 2016
