Aaaaaaargh :mad::mad::mad::mad:
Thought i was having a productive evening, checked gas & electricity after price rises & i'm still on the cheapest tariff possible :j
Applied for a 0% for 16 months balance transfer credit card which i didn't think i had a cat in hells chance of getting & was accepted :j:j This means all my final bits of CC debt are on 0% & can all be paid off before the promo rates end if i stick to my budget :j:j:j
Then checked my bank balance & realised that it appears my tenants HB has been stopped (for my house back in my home town that is more trouble than it's worth but is in far too much negative equity to make selling an option), which leaves me nearly £400 a month short on my budget :mad::mad::mad::mad:
That makes any dent in the CC's impossible till i get it sorted, which from previous experience could take forever, & worst of all now said tenant is refusing to answer the phone to me, which suggests she knows that this is happening :mad::mad:
Not to mention i am staying at my friends this weekend for the annual local music event & although we don't spend too much i literally have nothing other than money to cover the bills
Thank god my boss is on a/l this week so at least i can call the council to investigate in the morning.
One step forward two steps back....
Thanks for the rant, feel better now getting it all out!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -
EPIC fail on my NSDs target for the month!!! Better planning needed next time I think, see you all on the flipside!Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
2020 the year of less - Less debt, less waste, less spending, less stuff, less stress!0 -
Looking forward to September challenge
Good luck everybody:j
Thanks, Igamogam, and good luck to you also x :jH ope you are all having a good day.
Having a few issues here with laptop.
Fingers crossed.
Using keyboard plugged in and keep doing things wrong and have 'lost' my header and footers.
New keyboard on order.
Hate to think how much will be.evening all, well no more NSD for me - but I did get another box of PG from Ic*land (240 + 50% free) on offer for £3.50 - £1 coupon, plus two tubs of stain remover (no not for my carnival costume) 1/2 price @ Mr S - £2 coupon = 27p each. I hear they sell well at car boots
Bit miffed as I missed the B1G2F offer on branston beans in Mr T - and I think the battery glitch will be fixed by tomorrow when I get to nip into another Xrtra but hey ho.
Ordered a printer last night as my feegle one keeps playing up - it was on a good offer and is wireless too so can print from the lounge
Can't promise I'll start Sept off with a NSD but I'm doing quite well with coupons/stockpile atm so not a bad balance.
More bargains today, Kerri, you're definitely rivalling Cheryl for the title of "Whoopsie Queen":DThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Aww.... thanks Frodo:o. This challenge is full of lovely people like you so it's a pleasure running it xxEPIC fail on my NSDs target for the month!!! Better planning needed next time I think, see you all on the flipside!
Hmmmm....... now then Pips Mum I need to have a word with you about the use of the "f" word (as in "fail"), that's not allowed here. We don't "fail", we just "don't quite make our targets".
Good luck for September but you'll be in trouble if either BDINI or BigMumma see that "f" word again:D:D:DThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Oooh.... that sounds lovely Keiss, lots of work but it'll be worth it when it's done. Did you buy the flooring you showed us a picture of a month or so ago?
It's a pleasure, and thanks:D:D
BDINI very kindly offered to run the September thread so I thought I'd have a month off, though I'll still be around posting and offering the odd kick up the bum if needed:D
Hope your tooth is less painful and the anti-b's have worked?
