For 2007, Boots has re-launched its 'Change One Thing' New Year's scheme aimed to motivate and support those ambitious enough to attempt a New Year's resolution.

What's the deal?

Free pamphlets covering five different health topics (feel healthier, lose weight, look great, stop smoking and fell happier) are available in stores across the UK (usually displayed near the counter or entrance/exit), each containing a pledge diary or tips to achieve your goal, but most importantly these also include various money saving offers and coupons.

What's on offer?

There's a wide range of coupons availbale, so to give you a bit of a taster, these are the top ones:

Grab a pink 'feel happier' pamphlet, and:
  • you plus a friend can enjoy a free 1 day membership at Fitness First
  • you'll receive 200 advantage card points (£2) coupons for various £10 spends (not bad if you're going to buy the items anyway!)

The orange 'look great' pamphet includes:
  • a free No7 seven minute makeover
  • money off coupons including a saving of £5 when buying a Time Delay facial starter pack and £1 off any '17' mascara

Pick up the blue 'lose weight' option and amongst the coupons you'll:
  • save 50p on any Shapers sandwich, salad or fruit pot
  • be eligible for a free diary
  • get Quaker Snack-a-Jacks for half price

Within the green 'feel healthier' booklet you'll get:
  • money off coupons when buying vitamin or herbal supplements (saving you £1 off a spend in Jan, £2 on a £10 spend in Feb and £3 on a £10 spend in March)
  • to enjoy a free one day membership, with a friend, at Fitness First

Lastly, the grey 'stop smoking' phamplet offers:
  • a free sample of Nicotinell gum
  • between 25-50% off various stop smoking products
  • information to have a 'smokerlyser test (a reading of the carbon dioxide levels in your lungs)

How long are these valid for?

Each coupon has individual validity periods but as the majority of offers are available right now, pick up a phamplet as soon as you can.
