I got rejected from a graduate scheme assessment day, I asked for feedback but got no reply, do they have to give me feedback? As I would like to know how I could improve.

Did they ever say you would get feedback? I'd have thought if you got to assessment centre stage they would be able to give you something, but they're not obliged to. If they had a lot of people to see they may not have time to do this. They should at least reply along the lines of 'this is not something we are able to do'.0

When was the assessment and when did you ask for feedback?

If it was an assessment centre, most graduate employers will give you a 10-15 minute feedback session, however you might need to be patient as sometimes assessment centres happen in one go - I used to do 4 a week and then catch up on my screening on the 5th day! Did you email or call? How long has it been since you asked?0

Generally they don't provide feedback so much more when you said you were rejected and that makes sense.don't invest on something non profitable.

Completely disagree. Most grad scheme assessment centres will provide feedback because of the type of roles, and the time the individual invests.
But I want to know when it was and when the OP asked for it - because as another poster explained, often the assessors are doing one or two weeks of these, without any opportunity to sit down and do anything else. So it might take some time.
If the OP emailed them a few days later, and it's only been a day or two, then I think it's impatient. If it's been weeks, then I'd be re-emailing them. Or better still - pick up the phone and make a call.
