Hi
Freeola offers free web hosting and almost all you'll need regarding domains and email addresses etc. I've used them for many businesses in the past. Also Webmania if you need more features ie SQL etc.
Just PM if you want more details

if you mneed the web site designing i can reccomend http://www.uksitebuilder.net/. Simon is the guy who owns this company. very very fast turn around, high quality and to exact specification, also changes things as you go along to make sure you are happy with this, very competitive pricing, our web address is www.kidzrags.co.uk so you can have a look at his work, also if you go to his website it has an area showing his other recent work. as for price i guess it depends upon how much you want doing, my site looks basic (exactly as i wanted) but includes full product data base etc to support the e-commerce side of the site.
hope this helps

with software like Frontpage it is not the hardest thing in the world to set up a web site, but if you want e-commerce then it is probably best left to an expert
you often get free webspace from your isp, saves paying out for that for a basic site, but again if you require to sell stuff you need to pay for web space to get the additional features like PHP etc...Ex forum ambassador

My advice would be not to go for 'free' webhosting as the adverts and the web address can give a bad image of your company... you should probably invest a little to get a better level of service. You would also need to purchase yourself a domain name 'yourcompany.com' or something memorable. (I used https://www.pawhosting.com for my domain and hosting).
As for web design you can either go the route of trying to design your own site or have it done professionally. It might be worth asking your new host if they provide services in that department.
Hope that helpsTreat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0 -
I use a https://www.dreamhost.com its good value they still have a $7.95(~£5) for the first WHOLE year deal which allows 2.4gb storage and lots of bandwidth, a free .com address (after that it ranges from 7.95$ pm)...if you are interested in this deal pm me and i will send you the promo code (last time i posted it i got in a bit of trouble i think cause of referals etcetc)0

If your selling items that are like those sold in retail stores then your better off selling in ebay it has the customers and selling infrastructure and that combined with turbolister and your away, no need for hosting etc.. if its a service etc then ebay isnt really the way to go. Also be sure to research everything before you go ahead.ummm...0

i would start on ebay and use sales there to cross promote website, sales on website will be much cheaper(lower costs overall) but can use ebay to attract customers to your site
