Does anyone know the manufacturer?

I have found the perfect items I want for my reception that would make awesome central focal items and I can then use all the second hand vintage crokery etc round it all. I can only find the items on the net and not the name of the manufacturer and the only website I can find selling them wants £35 for delivery. Ouch. I simply cannot afford to pay that much.

I can't insert the images on here for some reason so below is the link to this same post on another forum. I hope that is ok, I can't get the weblink to pictures bit to re-direct straight to the sellers website but it is Scartop - a furniture supplier of all things. I live in Devon so collecting from them is not an option. So frustrating as they would be perfect.

  • Or even if anyone knows where else they are sold? If I can trace the manufacturer then I can source their suppliers. I contacted Scartop but they didn't reply.

Poppleminster, one option you could try is a Google image search for each item name, as each relevant image will link you back to the original website. Might help you track down the original manufacturer if they have an online catalogue. This tactic worked for me when I was trying to track down a dress stockist...

One thing to add, I did a quick search for the bird glass jar and found one here but at a much higher price than Scartop at £33 each. So looks like you've already found a great price for that one at least. :)

Also found one here for £19.95 each and postage 'from £4.75'... :)
  • THANK YOU! I will give goodle a go later. It's funny how much the price varies on the jars, someone had one on ebay for £45 and £12 postage. I am on a budget so thought iot would be lovely to have a few nice central pieces that I can keep after the wedding then the rest of my crockery is all old cups and saucers and plates from charity shops and re-cycling centres & freecycle requests. I really appreciate your help :)
  • That website you gave the link to is def using the same supplier. They say they give 5% off for bank transfer payments and deliver over £85 is free so I could technically order more but still pay less than the site I found - if that makes sense.

Sounds like a plan! :) And your choices are gorgeous too. Your home is going to look fab with all those mementos from your day.
  • The two things I really liked are the bird jar and the matching cake platter so i've just ordered those with the £4.95 delivery. The other things were lovely but those two items are really special and I will use them over and over again at home. Really excited now, thanks so much! xxxx
