hi all,

not sure if this is the right place but if not could one of the mods move it please?

my debt is being managed by a company called sterling green, they were able to save me over 100 a month, frezze the intrest on my OD accounts and generally make me feel better........

....... i have recently started getting letter s from the creditors saying that my payments are not being recieved on time (they are recieving them though)
the late payments are accruing more charges and the interest is icresing.

Now i know that creditors do not have to agree to stop the interest but some of them have never heard from sterling green.... what should i do?

Maybe go to an agency that won't charge you?
Or call your creditors up in person??

If you are paying SG for the service then dump them immediately (in writing sent recorded delivery). They are costing you money because they charge you for what they do plus they are costing you money because they are not doing what they have been charging you for.

You best bet is to go to a free service, like CCCS, who are quite reliable. In the meantime blow out SG and write to all your creditors directly with a token payment and request they freeze interest. Let them know CCCS are taking over. If it takes more than a month send them another token payment.
There will be a few more months of phonecalls and letters but most of them will eventually go away.

thanks, that was what i was looking for, i thought as much just wanted someone with a bit more expierience to back it up, my only real concern was that i was in a "contract" with SG didn't want to just cancel my payments and hope for the best if they were just going to turn around and bend me over!!!!!

i will ring them again today and say i have taken advice from an "expert" a white lie, but might stir them into action and explain as they are not fullfilling their end of the contract i do not need to fullfill mine.....

i'll let u know how it goes
