grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

i have just had a new reward notice from tax credits after phoning them last week and letting them know that dd is going to nursery 3 more sessions per week....

it seems that my money is changing for the worse on a week to week basis???

from what they explained on the phone i will be getting a one off payment? so technically i will be better off from now until april, however my actual weekly amount will go down after the one off payment....

after working out my budget for the next 12 months, i now have to redo it all again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know i will be better off but couldnt they have just upped the weekly amount instead of paying me a one off payment and then bringing my weekly amount down, just really annoying after all that work ive done on my budget!!!

lol, rant over:D

  • I think it's because there's only a quarter of the tax year left. so it's easier for them to just give you a lump sump to cover it and then from april your award will be based on your earnings for last year instead of the year before which is why they'll change.
    Annoying isn't it!
