Hi,
I bought an IMAC last year from Bestbuy on a 12 months interest free ,I think it was with HFC or now called the title of this thread. If I dont pay it off in 12 month I pay with installments plus interest for 3 years at 50 odd quid a month. Anyway, I am paying it off in full this month, but noticed they will charge me 20 odd quid admin charge. If I dont pay it off in full, say I leave a debt of five pounds, will I just pay interest on the 5 pounds and thus avoid the 20 odd pounds charge.
Many thanks in advance
Andy

NO!!!
All the interest has been building up over the last year. If you even a second too late in paying it off you will be hit for a whole years worth of interest (for the whole amount of the debt).
Get it paid off ASAP!!!0 -

The only reason I ask is because when I bought it, the salesman at Bestbuy told me this little trick of avoiding the admin charge, and I thought at the time it sounded a little suspect. Will pay it all in full. Many thanksDebt free. March 20200 -
