just got back from my local tesco in Chesterfield spotted these BMX bikes for £35 sa said they had been £140 reduced to £70 and knocked down again to £35, they are still £70 on direct, reviews are mixed. Not sure if it will be in all stores probably just the larger ones with the cycle shops.

MY son has this bike. To be honest, the build quality is fairly poor. I was happy at £70 and would have loved it at £35, but if it was £140 originally, then someone's having a laugh. The brakes on it are very poor and the chain guard is flimsy. I remember kicking hell out of my Ralleigh BMX as a kid, but I guess that cost my dad a bit more!I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

we have bought 2 of them one for each of the kids, did read the mixed reviews, but thought we would chance it for the price, it actually only cost us £50 for the 2 bikes as we used a tesco coupon from yesterdays newspaper, a morrisons coupon , and a price check voucher
if we start getting problems with them i will just take them to the bike shop in store and let the lads in there sort them out, receipt firmly stuck on the notice board just in case!

Oh don't get me wrong, my lad (quite tall at 9) is out on his all the time. He gives it some right pasty and nothing major has happened. IT even survived a crash into a lamp post and him being cut out of his cloths and sent to hospital lol.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
