MP3 suitable for Spotify offline mode

Options
Hey I'm a new user to Spotify and have become a premium member for £9.99 a month. I currently use the offline mode on my iPhone so its not reliant on streaming (patchy coverage) whilst out and about.

Does anybody know if there is a similar sized MP3 player like the ipod shuffle (suitable to use whilst jogging/exercising) which would work with Spotify and the "offline" mode?

Thanks, I hope that makes sense!!

Spotify Offline Mode (Spotify Premium) is only compatible with the following mobile devices: Iphone, Ipod Touch and various Android, Symbian, Windows and Palm phones.

If you want an MP3 Player rather than a phone then you have to buy the Ipod Touch.

Thanks you. for your help Boooooooo! Thats a bit rubbish. I might have to write to Spotify and ask them to invent a new MP3 player just for their users :)

If its any help, I used to have a Napster account, this worked out to £12 a month if I bought an annual membership or £15 if I paid per month. I could download whatever I wanted to my computer and then transfer any of it to my MP3 player (which wasn't an ipod) I had easily over 1000 tunes within the first few month, its completely unlimited.

Only pit-fall is that once you stop the membership, you lose everything:( Sadly I could no longer afford it (pay cuts, price rises and "The Recession" ...etc) so no longer use them and have not done since around 2009 but wouldn't have thought they'd have altered that much. Their call centers are based in the US (not somewhere hard to decipher accents of) so problems were not such an ordeal or resolve.

Think you can go via cashback sites or ipoints to collect cash back/points if its any use.
