Bullying at work forum

Does anyone know where I can join a forum that helps deal with bullying at work? ACAS weren't much help and the bullyingonline.org website doesn't really have a forum. I need to know some basics about what I can do other than talk to my manager and HR (I have done both to no avail). And I am a temp and have been there for 15 months. Their attitude is "you're a temp, you can find something else, you don't have to stay" and I know that the bully wants just that. She has got the manager wound round her little finger.

I can't sleep or stop thinking about the whole situation and today, if the opportunity arises, I will talk to the manager again and if I see that he is not going to do anything about it, then I might be forced to leave my job but then what? I need the money and need to work.

This is a very short reply, as I'm away for a couple of days. All companies must have a grievance procedure - it should be printed on a board somewhere - and you should invoke this.
Someone else on the forum will hopefully add to this, but you trawl around the web for info on the UK grievance procedure. Good luck!

Im not an expert but like the previous poster there should be a grievence proc. Going on what you said it doesnt sound like the company are that bothered though. I would speak to your temping agency and then consider speaking to a solicitor if you dont get anywhere with them.

In the mean time make sure you are keeping a diary of everything that goes on. Good luck, keep us updated.

    Thanks everyone.

The problem I have is that I am a temp and the argument they have given to me is that I am not covered by their grievance procedure and it's the agency who should help me. But, one of the agency ladies is the HR woman's sister!!! There is no way I am going to get far with that one.

I think what I need to do is that I speak to the manager when the loud music, her attitude towards me etc rears it's ugly head again and then I can take it from there. The only other option is to leave and as I have debts and bills to pay, I can't afford to be out of money even for a week.

    Stuck or what?
