A little tip: you only need a slot-one solution now (ds slot), no more pass-me + gba cart.

I am a long standing customer of this company and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Regarding the tip given...anyone considering a one-slot solution should be aware that these do not make use of the DS machines backward compatability feature of being able to play the old gameboy advance games. Do not simply disregard a 2 cart solution thinking its somehow inferior, as one of them just gets put in and never removed.

At time of writing there are 801 DS games released, and 2643 GBA games.

If you are interested in any of the 2643 games, you should consider a 2 cart solution.

Hello there. With regards to 1 slot v`s 2 cart, which in you opinion, ( I have no real technical ability as such), is the easier to use.
I have recently bought a DS Lite and the idea of playing old nes games, homebrew etc.... is exactly what I`m after.

I looked up a couple of UK sites, all basically tell you to wait until more info` can be sourced on:

    Ds -Xtreme
    M3 Ds Simply
and a couple of others I can`t remember.

I`m just after the simplest solution, no flashing if at all possible. Also all the new slot 1 cards all heavily state that it must be a, " clean dump", file. Waht is this kind of file and where do you source these from?

I`m sorry if my lack of technical ability shames me, I`ve only had the DS for a couple of days, and am just finding my feet with all this.

'NDS ROM "clean dumps" - that is unaltered backups of DS game cards are for use with NDS Emulators and playing on Nintendo DS with new generation NDS / GBA Flash Cards such us G6 Flash 3rd generation, M3 Perfect Adapter CF / SD and SuperCard DS (Compact Flash and Secure Digital) and MK2 and Neo MK3.'

Not sure if you can talk about this stuff on here????? In case you can't...just google DS ROMS.

The DS-X is overpriced and undersized.

About the best choice atm is the M3 Simply (or the R4, they are an identical product), coupled with a 1GB (8gigabit) Kingston Japan/Toshiba/PNY/Dane-Elec MicroSD card. Total cost of ~£45 and you can upgrade easily by simply buying a new MicroSD card.
