*Price checked Tesco shop at https://www.tescopricecheck.com/PriceCheck/Pages/Default.aspx and got £1.22 back. Yippee! I would recommend doing this as I usually get a couple of quid back every month for one minutes work. You just go to the site, type in your email address and the code at the bottom of the receipt. Then they email you a voucher in a couple of days if your shopping would've been cheaper at Asda.
*Asda has a similar system here: http://www.asdapriceguarantee.co.uk/Compare-Prices/ASDA-receipt.aspx
*Collected up all my spare change and had enough for a bottle of cider and some chocolate in Lidl.
*Went for a hike with my OH. Took 33p pies and 25p coleslaw with us and a flask of coffee.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

Hi all! Not a very DFW day here I'm afraid, was meant to be as friend and I were taking LO's swimming and coming back to my house...so I made cakes last night...but she then decided she wanted to go to Basingstoke and swim, then Frankie and Benny's! Grr! So today I have/will:-
- Checked banking
- Went to Mr T's with list
- Fruit from greengrocers, cheaper and lasts longer
- Withdrew £30 thinking 'I won't spend all that...pahahah!'
- HC to be drying on airer
- HW was heated over night soon to be off
- Update spending diary...aghh
- Update MSE diary
- Go thru CD's to list on ebay tomorrow eve
- More HC
- Clean bathroom
- Clean kitchen/wash up
- Chillax tonight on my own!

- Drop DD off at her dads in a bit for W/ENothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0 -
Well the customer didn't turn up or phone. I have a feeling that she thought £8 to replace a zip in a pair of trousers was far too much. After all, the zip would cost me £2.50 and an hour's work would then cost £5.50 which is half my corsetry hourly rate! Less than Minimum Wage too  Who needs customers like that anyway??? I does mean I've got a lovely clean house and the lawns cut though.stitching_witch wrote: »I will also:- [STRIKE] hang washing outside if fine, otherwise airer[/STRIKE] airer as the weather looked iffy
- [STRIKE] blitz the 'public' areas of the house before the new customer comes[/STRIKE] done
- [STRIKE] see to new customer[/STRIKE] see below
- [STRIKE] blitz the rest of the house after she goes[/STRIKE] done
- got to allotment and dig some lovely fresh potatoes
- [STRIKE] make granola in the slow cooker[/STRIKE] done
- left over HM chicken and ham pie for dinner - that's six days from a £4 chicken
- [STRIKE] have an NSD (possibly
)[/STRIKE]

I take it you didn't come into Basingstoke with your friend - it's our loss

Stitchy- that silly woman would have only taken up precious time that could be spent on your 101 list
:p:p Definitely not worth it for minimum wage. I think a clean house and cut lawns was a good substitute instead of £5.50!
Good luck with your list! I feel a bit more motivated with mine now. Some of them allow me to think creatively about activities for the kids over the hols! I'll try and fly a kite again and forget the disaster that was the last try!! :rotfl:We will go for a nice long walk to carve my name on a tree and also visit the see to send my message in a bottle!
