f&f settlement letter stubborn creditor

Hi guys, as posted in a few previous threads I have been trying to settle my current debt with payplan and have been reasonably successful in obtaining the letters/emails I require for settlement although I have one creditor (payment services bereau) That have offered me a very good discount (40% of balance) although the f&f settlement letter only states 'settlement of account' and despite numerous phone calls and correspondence through payplan they will not issue a second letter with this info although 2 of the advisors, who were very pleasant and not your typical dca staff, have advised that all calls are recorded and can be reviewed and they confirmed without a doubt that they will not chase for further amount nor any other company and that the account will be closed as a full and final settlement. I’m just trying to get this resolved as quickly as possible and am just tempted to pay but wanted some last advice, the balance is around £4500 and the offer is £1800ish.
Also is it worth me creating a post with my experience and hindsight information?

Keep plugging to get it all in writing lots of people have assumed their debts are settled only to find further down the line they paid a lump sum but still owe the rest0 -
if they wont put the offer in writing then its worthless
they will try to screw you over0
