HELP - mortgages

I have a bad credit history and am currently on a trust deed, I have spoken to the trust deed company and they are happy for me to get a mortgage as I currently pay rent.
My rent is £780 is this transferable to a mortgage, ie a mortgage where I pay about that or less?
Who does mortgages for bad credit as I don't know where to start. Any help will be greatly appreciated

IIRC this is the Scottish equivalent of an IVA?
To get a mortgage with this, you'll need at least 30% deposit, possibly more.
I suggest a specialist whole market broker in Scotland who will know the right lenders to approach at the outset.I am a mortgage broker.
