Tesco clubcard Goldsmiths Tokens?

Hi everyone

I'm new to the Tesco clubcard and in the last four months I have turned into a mad demented person collecting points. I am due to get my coupons in February and have two questions:

How much are the Goldsmiths tokens worth? ie if you have £20 worth of clubcard vouchers how much would the goldsmiths tokens be?

Secondly, how long have you got to use the clubcard vouchers? is it possible to save them up for lets say next Christmas?

Goldsmiths you get 4x value, so if you've got £20 tesco vouchers can get £80 for Goldsmiths. But be aware that I think there's a minimum spend of £250 - worth checking. You should be able to make up the difference with cash if need be.

Clubcard vouchers last for 2 years but I believe can be cancelled and new ones issued?

Hi, not many codes around at the moment for clubcard points with online shopping. There is a great site https://www.paidtoshop.co.uk which is great for Tesco clubcard talk.

I have used most of my points in the past with MFI or for Days out tokens but as MFI are leaving deals shortly I'll probably save for a holiday or BSM driving lessons.

the minimum spend at Goldsmiths is actually £200 but it is good to know that you are treated the same as any other customer.I went just before christmas with £190 worth of vouchers.I chose four items altogether and the assistant individually wrapped each item with a gift tag and bow etc more than good enough to give as a present and all you do is make up the difference in cash.

I've used my deals in Goldsmiths many times and there has never been a minimum spend level imposed. The staff are great and most of them are saving Tesco points themselves. Last time I went in I came out with loads of freebies including cleaning kits and a gift wrapped teddy bear for my daughter. My purchases have ranged from a £1200 ring to a £60 pair of earings. The only problem is though you lose all sense of financial reality when you are spending deal vouchers, it's great!

Shame they don't include sale items though. Goldsmiths must be the most expensive jewellers on the high street!

think the min spend thing was only brought in on the november statements

Point to remember is that when you are buying a full priced item you find they are on par with most other jewellers.

I bought the Seiko 40th Anniversary watch for my son which was priced at £650 in all the major jewellers and even on ebay it was somewhere round the £595 mark. Got it for £162.50 using my Clubcard points. Added to that there was a branch in my town centre.

My son couldn't believe his luck as I had bought him a good watch for his 18th which he didn't look after so this was a bonus he certainly wouldn't of had but for the points.

And only thanks to a friend at work advising me to save my clubcard points as up until last Feb was only using them for Blockbuster videos for the family. But since finding this site my points have greatly increased - as you can see from above.

Without you all I probably would still have been visiting Blockbusters!!!

One thing to note, if you you convert your clubcard vouchers to deals, I think the expiry comes forward to 6 months.

Best to check though.
