Stop reading stuff I've read before

Is there any way in these forums to sort of indicate that you have already read through a thread.

I find I sort of gravitate to certain threads only to discover I've looked at them already.

Especially when it is a really long thread it would be good to put some sort of marker that for instance I have read up to repy 51 say.

Is there anyway of doing this please?

I doubt it, but if you go into your UserCP then then edit Options, in the Threads section you can set it to show the newest message first.

That way when you read a thread you see the newest message first, just read down to one you seen before and move on to the next thread.

the colour of the envelope also is an indication so red ones are hot topics
and blue envelopes are new or have little activity

new posts are emboldened
