Hi, just had a look at their site and it appears that 50,000 HMV points will only give you £10 credit not £500.:(0

It's only worth around £15 I think? x0

HMV Points
100 points = 1p = £5
(I think)
Edit: I'm not sure I've worked that out right as they have a laptop there which costs 250,000 points and I don't think that's worth £25

£500 is how much you have to spend to earn 50,000 points.0

A £10 HMV voucher is 40,000 points and a £2 one is 10,000. Plus the Ts and Cs for vouchers earned with points are not as simple as they are for a normal gift voucher.
There are lots of unique items available but you won't get very much at all for 50,000 points.0 -
I just redeemed 70,000 points for £20 credit.Thanks to all posters :A0

it's not £500, it's some random things you can buy from the arena
http://pure.hmv.com/other-film-stuff/personalised-star-of-fame/invt/m991001537/ for example, or a justin bieber poster...0 -
If HMV are giving away £2.00 for their 90th anniversary comp, things must be bad ............
Watch those tick boxes as well ....... I know how scary they are for some of you0 -

It's basically saying win £500 spend worth of points - which would equal 50,000. If you wanted 50,000 you would have to spend £500 instore / online to get it otherwise. Maybe we should ask if we can have £500 worth of goods too :rotfl:
But those 50,000 equals £12 ishThanks to all posters :A0
