Right I have sussed this, I ordered a load of stuff the other day, no idea what I got cheaper though to be honest, I saw that it was 'worth' £300 and I got it for around £160 but some of that is full price. Was happy with that price to be fair and Xmas and birthdays are pretty much finished in this house now. Just waiting for the 3 for 2's later in the year so I can buy the kids their main pressies.
SOME of the items that have a promotion or have been reduced in the sale give a discount on the full price. Maybe we can give a list of items that we find that are being sold cheaper save going through to checkout each time we think we have found a bargain.
I have found the Red Arrows Airfix models - £19.97 each or 2 for £20 and you get £8 discount so 2 for £13. I just ordered 2 of them.

Seems everything on the 2 for £20 gives a good price.
Also on gardening (some good quality tools would make a good Xmas pressie for a keen gardener) http://direct.tesco.com/promo/?id=S00027079 Takes off £8 so you get 2 gardening tools for £22.
If anyone finds an offer on the Garden Furniture I would really appreciate it.
I think that Tesco have sussed what is happening because some of the items I chose the other day had a strikethrough price and now this price is showing as 'the' price in the list instead of strikethrough, so only the 20% is given. I had my eye on some furniture at £200, reduced from £400 so £80 off would have been nice but it is now just '£200' and no strikethrough. Same on the furniture that was reduced from £600 to £300. Gutted, LOL.0
