Next £10 PIN incentive doesn't work

A couple of weeks ago, whilst browsing in the city centre, I was approached in next by a marketeer, who asked me to sign up for emails and gave me a slip which included a £10 PIN no. to use for my first online order.

It has sat in my handbag, and today I tried to order some school trousers for DS. £10.00 would equate to a free pair of trousers.

However, having registered (with a new email address to one I've used before), it tells me

"Unfortunately, the pin entered has already been registered at next.co.uk and therefore we are unable to include the incentive offer with this order"

So, is the incentive a con, or has the marketeer taken her counterfoils back and used the nos off them to get loads of £10 discounts for herself??

Did you use the same delivery address as your previous Next account? The £10 off cards only work for new customers. I was given one of these and when it was rejected, customer services said it was because I was a existing customer.

Never mind.
